Water Quality Calibration is available with the Premium version of KYPipe.
Bulk Reaction and Wall Reaction Rates for pipes are required data in the calculation of chemical concentrations in water over time. Default values may be used, but these rates are an important part of the determination of chemical levels in a system. If chemical concentration data over time is available, this data may be used to calibrate the bulk and wall reaction rates, resulting in a greater level of accuracy when conducting future water quality analysis.
For a Water Quality Calibration, pipes are divided into two or more groups. These groups may be assigned distinct reaction rates in the calibration process. The rates are applied to the pipe groups and an overall default may be defined for any pipes not included in the calibration process.
